Founded in 1977 by the late Dr. N.H. Paul Chung, the Pacific Asian Management Institute (PAMI) is the center for international business programs with an Asia-Pacific focus at the Shidler College of Business. PAMI is the umbrella organization housing the PAMI Summer Program, PAMI Year Round Programs, PAMI Asian Field Study Program, Center for International Business Education and Research, and Pacific Asian Consortium for International Business Education and Research.
The PAMI Summer Program offers certificates in International Management and International Entrepreneurship to undergraduate and graduate students and the Pacific Asian Lecture Series (PALS) to the public.
The UH Shidler PAMI is a proud recipient of the U.S. Department of Education Title VI grant, which established the Centers for International Business Education and Research (CIBER) (ciberweb.msu.edu).
The UH Shidler PAMI is a founding member and Secretariat of Pacific Asian Consortium for International Business Education and Research (PACIBER), along with 27 leading business schools in the Asia Pacific Region (www.paciber.org).
